Obesity is now the #1 cause of death in America.

Americans are the #1 Most Medicated People in the World:

2004: Americans spent $1.9 trillion on health care. Imagine what it is now!

2007: The World Health Organization ranked the U.S. among the lowest of the unhealthiest country in the world even among under developed countries.

2008: American drug companies spent $83.6 million in advertising.

2008: Americans spent $230 billion on pharmaceutical drugs.

Americans are Fast Food Junkies,

Soda-pop-aholics and Sugar Addicts:

2008: Americans spent $134 billion on fast food.

2009: Americans will spend $84 billion on soda pop and energy drinks.

The Coca Cola Company alone spends $60 million a year to promote drinking Coke at over 2000 boys and girls clubs in America. There is so much soda pop consumed in the state of New York that the state wants to pass “The Soda Pop Tax Bill” to tax soda pop 18%. This would significantly raise state revenues.
