First of all every time you or I go on a diet and starve the body, our metabolism slows down. (We want to speed it up!)
Secondly, every time we diet and lose weight 70% of it is fat and 30% of it is muscle. Now when we gain the weight back (almost all the time when we go off the diet), we gain 95% fat and only 5% muscle. Here is the problem with that. MUSCLE BURNS FAT. Less muscle means you burn less fat.
Thirdly, when you go on a diet you make a conscious commitment to make changes however your subconscious still has the old habits and behaviors programmed on"auto-pilot" and once it is fixed in the subconscious, you are attracted to everything in alignment with it.
This happens whether you like it or not. So rather then focusing on losing weight, focus on healthy lifestyle and the weight will come off and stay off! So today's habit changing affirmation is very simple but very important. Remember to read it 5x's out-loud and write it down.
