Weight Loss, is hard enough with all the cutting back counting calories, but now we also have to work out, but don't over do it. After all some people go to the gym everyday and struggle to get any results at all, while others can go just a few times and see results the reason a persons fitness level. Covert Bailey talks about this in his series he has on PBS,
In short when you go to the gym, or do whatever it is you do to work out. You will eventually hit a point where your results are slow to show, even though you are working even harder than before results are still slow, the solution is to mix it up a bit, as Covert Bailey suggests if your work out is running, then switch to bicycling for a while, or cross country skiing, just do something else for a while, what this does is it gives your muscles a chance to rest-up, from doing the same old thing, though you might still be using the same muscles, but your not moving them the same old way. This gives you a chance to still get a good work out, and build the same muscle from moving a different way, and thus enabling you to get some results again.
